Occupational Therapy Initial Evaluation: $250 (90-min)

Occupational Therapy Follow-up Session: $130/hr (60-min)

Coaching Initial Session: $200 (90-min)

Coaching Follow-up Session: $130 (60-min)

I offer a limited number of sessions on a sliding scale, depending on income, needs, and frequency of visits. Let’s talk to discuss your options.

No, a diagnosis is not required for us to work together. I enjoy helping people achieve their goals. Simple as that.

No, I’m an out-of-network provider and do not directly bill insurance for services at this time. Using insurance benefits can often disrupt your autonomy over the therapy process and my ability to keep our work entirely confidential. Insurance companies require official diagnoses and often dictate the types of treatments provided and how long we’re able to work together. Because this structure doesn’t align with my values as a clinician or the quality of service I believe you deserve, I’ve chosen to not panel as an in-network provider at this time.

I also recognize that by not accepting insurance, my services may be less accessible for some. Please reach out to me about my sliding scale offerings, if affordability is a barrier for you. I’m also able to provide you with a super bill as an out-of-network provider that you can submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement. Depending on your coverage and need, this may be a sustainable option.  

No, Arizona is a direct access state - you are not required to have an Occupational Therapy Script/Referral to participate in services.

Insurance reimbursement for out-of-network coverage may require a physician (MD, DO, PA, NP) referral, but does not guarantee coverage/reimbursement. Contact your insurance to learn more about your benefits and requirements.

Access to services is often determinded by the severity of a deficit, a diagnosis, or a current episode or illness. This model of accessing therapy services and insurance reimbursement does not align with my values or practice. I meet you where you are so you get the services you need.

Mental Health Occupational Therapy is not a new or an emerging area of practice. In the late 1800's to early 1900's, Occupational Therapy brought meaningful activities and occupations to mental health patients, increasing independence and restoring well-being.

Mental Health Occupational Therapy means the clients I see are young adults and adults who have a mental health or cognitive diagnosis or symptoms.

As a Mental Health Occupational Therapist, I understand that limitations to engaging in life are not always physical and that focusing on our mental health is also crucial to our overall well-being. With this understanding, I use a trauma-informed approach while collaborating with you as we take steps to reach your goals.
